• Age – One way to tell if you need electrical rewiring is to simply look at the age of your existing electrical system. Even if you aren’t currently experiencing any electrical problems, if your wiring is 50 years old or more, we encourage you to get your building rewired. Not only does electrical wiring have a maximum lifespan, but old wiring systems are not designed to keep up with the power needs of modern appliances, so you’ll get better peace of mind and better performance from your new wiring.
• Flickering Lights – Another sign you may need electrical rewiring is flickering lights. If only a single light flickers, then the problem is probably confined to that specific lightbulb or fixture, but if it’s happening to multiple lights around your building, then the problem is more likely with the wiring.
